Meet "Stranger,"
The mascot Granger

Our friends at Scene Magazine say,
"Roadhouse Rockin: That was the authentic Texas beer joint sounds laid down by the GRANGERS (bobwall.org) when I caught them at the Sandbar, the friendly neighborhood watering hole in Clear Lake Shores. We are talkin’ good timing, beer drinking, hell raising music with some good ole belt-buckle polishing tearjerkers thrown in. Yeah, and some rock ‘n’ roll and sweet soul to keep you boogying. They played with high energy and loose as goose, fun stage personalities. The crowd absolutely ate it up. Dancing, shouting out approval and having a great time. Instrumentally, the band had a solid, driving sound, paced well by drummer Kevin Taylor and bassist Buddy Corbett. Electric guitarist Weldon Corbett took some nifty solos. Lead vocalists Bob Wall and Jeff Luchsinger played electric and acoustic rhythm guitars respectively. Wall was full of energy, jumping around, going out on the dance floor and generally creating good fun while singing well to boot. Luchsinger played and sang sitting down, but that didn’t detract at all from his good voice and presentation. Covers that had the crowd up and dancing included “Some Kind of Wonderful”, “Walk on the Wild Side” and , Standing on Shaky Ground”. Originals composed and sung by Wall were “Blue Skies”, “Dogs at the Door” and “The Light Went Out”. Song of the set was “Fool in me, composed and sung by Luchsinger. BRAVO! FYI: The Grangers recorded a self titled CD of originals in 2006. Bob Wall recorded a 2005 solo CD or originals. Both CD’s represent the band’s live shows well. Sound samples of those CD’s are available at www.bobwall.org "

Our friends at PASADENA LITTLE THEATRE say,
"'The Grangers', Jeff Luchsinger and his brother's band (Bob) performed Saturday, February 23, at The Sandbar in Clear Lake Shores. [Other members of the band include, Kevin Taylor, Buddy and Weldon Corbett.] Ken and Julie Owen and Jada August attended and had a wonderful time. These guys are very good! Next time we need to make a large PLT showing to support Jeff."

OUR OFFICIAL FAN CLUB

The
Grangerettes
pose for a picture before
taking a break from their meeting
to take some tea with a side of "Spotted Dick."

The Corbett brothers, Buddy, left and Weldon, right, say, "You never know who's going to show up at the granger homestead, not to mention a live show."

What kind of perverse and bizarre behaviors may be exnibited at these shindigs? What the band members may be doing in their every day lives is often a matter of national security.

We, Bobbaratzi, Inc., the official photographers of the Grangers, try to capture those special moments on film so that you, the fan, can feel oh, so close to the boys and their music. Most of the photographs require a mature content warning, a toll free phone number and a credit card to view.

Here are some of the few shots we can publicly exhibit: And if you dare to see these at full size, just click on the picture and sheild your eyes!

*THE PARTY*
These were shot during a house cooling party sometime a while ago in the past.

*THE STUDIO*
Not all is fun and games, (as far as you know).
Sometimes there's a lot of actual "work," to be done.
And aren't the results the sweetest "noise," you've ever heard?

*REHEARSAL*
Even the greatest need to keep the old edge honed.
So, the Grangers practice, practice, and then....practice some more!
If we're not running over (and I mean, "running over,") the old stuff,
we're plugging away at some new material that's planned for the next Granger CD!

BUDS - IN - SHOW
You never know when you'll be hauled up in front of our frenzied fans to sing a few.
So, always keep those pipes and pinkies warmed up!

FREE-RANGING GRANGERS
We, as a group or any combionation of individuals, can pop up anywhere and any time to do some pickin' and a grinnin'.
So, keep your peepers open!
